TIME AND WORK Over the last 20 years of my economic life I have discovered again and again that nothing happens over-night. I have dreamt of gaining wealth or success. And while these dreams have motivated me, they have also frustrated me at times because they did not happen at the rate that I would like them to. I set up Be Motivated Today to help people grow, reach their potential and achieve some financial goals. And again, I wanted it to happen fast. We all do. I want you to achieve an excellent passive income of thousands in 6 months. But it is unrealistic. AND frustrating. We all need to be reminded again that developing a passive income takes years. We forget that a doctor has to study for 7 years, full-time, to start in a hospital where he works long hours and earns peanuts. It is after another 2 - 5 years or more that he can expect a decent income (And it's not even passive). Yet we want it after 7 months of working part-time on the internet. We have to remind ourselves that it takes time. How many years have you worked at a job? How much passive income do you have to show for it? If you could have worked the same number of years on growing your passive income where would you be now? It takes an investment of time. And work. In my dream I am successful without doing much work. All of us want a passive income. Most of us don't want the work. Yet work releases our potential. Work gives us fulfilment. Work produces character. And without work the passive income will never grow. If you are not doing the work, I want to encourage you to start in earnest. Nothing happens when nothing happens. If you do nothing you will have nothing. If you do little, you will have little. If you do a lot you will have a lot. We want to pay you out more and when we launch internationally (in the second half of 2010) make our opportunity more appealing to the international market. One of the ways to do that is by paying out more commissions. 2010 is here and we are excited about what success you will enjoy this year. As expected, December was a quiet month for us with fewer people upgrading. But this was to be expected after our website was down for a week and most people took a break over the festive season. Never-the-less, we want to welcome all the new Silver Members! Trial Membership Growth We have about a 1000 new Trial Members joining every week. This fluctuates from week to week as can be expected. We have about a 10 - 12% upgrade ratio. This means that of every 10 Trial Members, you will have 1 that upgrades to Silver Member. Therefore when we have 10,000 Trial Members who have completed the trial, 1000 to 1200 will upgrade. Some will cancel and some will not honour their debit orders. October was a slightly slower month, but we still had 421 new Silver Members upgrade. Welcome to all the new Silver Members! Our total membership grew to over 38,000 members by the end of October. Well done to all who are working hard at inviting. I say this every month, but without our wonderful members inviting others our company would not have the impact it is having. We have had a year of successful business growth and have 2 months of 2009 left. It was a time to reflect on the wonderful year that Be Motivated Today has had. We look forward to the next year with great anticipation and know that there will be many rewards for those who join. Our growth is continuing to be steady with between 400 and 600 upgrades per month. How to Reach your Financial Goals? I'm sure your life is as busy as mine. With busy schedules it is easy to forget about one's financial goals. That is why it is crucial to have set goals and plans that one sticks to. Try to discipline yourself to spend 15 minutes a day or at least 60 minutes a week on inviting people to your Be Motivated Today website. It is the people who develop the habit of consistent effort who enjoy the success. Working intensely for 2 weeks and then doing nothing for 2 months is not the key. But consistent effort for 2 years brings huge results. And time flies. Already we are in November. Yes, the end of the year is upon us and I want to encourage you to put in that consistent effort for 6 more weeks, before you take a well-deserved break. Make a decision to spend time on Be Motivated Today for a set time every day for the next 6 weeks, so that you can do the work that will give you the financial rewards in the future. Negative people can keep you in poverty, by their comments. Yet the wealthy don't listen to the negative comments of others. They see their goals and have done their homework. In the same way, when you learnt about Be Motivated Today, you realized that it could work. You read credible testimonies of people who are succeeding. You set some goals and you got started. You probably have had negative people who have criticized our system and told you it will not work. Yet the facts are, that it is working and all you need to do is follow what successful people are doing. But if you follow the negative comments of your critics, you will only end up where they are - still struggling financially. Don't be influenced by negative people, Willie.
